Junior Sailing

Small Boat Sailing Lessons (8 - 14yrs)

Our youngest sailors progress through the fundamentals of rigging, wind direction, and proper boat handling. More advanced students gain experience with sailing in different conditions, racing, and tactics in an Optimist. 

Scholastic Sailing (8th -12 Grade)

High school sailors train and race FJs, competing with other schools in the region. 8th graders can join and prepare to sail for their high school. Coached practices are held just outside the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor in the Monterey Bay.

Summer Program

Young sailors between the age of 8 to 18 are spending their time on the water, learning sailing , racing and enjoying the Santa Cruz summer on the ocean.
